7) A day at the fleamarket

Yesterday, I went to a fleamarket and made some pouches for a few people - if you’re one of the ~ 10 people reading this after taking home something from me then a giant thanks to you!

It was nice to talk to a lot of people who were interested in my sewing machine and how/why you would bolt it to the back of your bike. I also felt somewhat like a celebrity as many people wanted to take a photo (granted of the machine and not me), which wasn’t actually so bad.

A top tip from a rookie: it pays to get up and set up early at a fleamarket, or else you end up in a kind of desert, away from the action, like I did.
